SACRED HEART SCHOOL HONORED TO ANNOUNCE
DR. PATRICIA SHEETZ AS PRINCIPAL, EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2024
The Office of Catholic Schools of the Diocese of Palm Beach is pleased to announce that Dr. Patricia Sheetz has been selected to serve as the next Principal of Sacred Heart School, in Lake Worth, effective July 1, 2024.
A diverse search committee, including members of the school community as well as educational professionals, was established and trained in the diocesan search process. The committee engaged in careful consideration and review of all applications received and conducted interviews with the top candidates. Ultimately, the committee made a recommendation, which Fr. Jean W. Boulin, Parochial Administrator, then confirmed, to select Dr. Sheetz as the next Principal.
With more than two decades of experience in education, Dr. Sheetz brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep commitment to Catholic education to her new role. Currently serving as the Principal of Our Mother of Consolation Parish School in Philadelphia, PA, Dr. Sheetz has demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication to her community since 2018.
In addition to her role as a principal, Dr. Sheetz serves as an adjunct professor at Chestnut Hill College, further showcasing her passion for teaching and learning. She holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Temple University, a master’s degree from St. Joseph’s University, and a bachelor of arts degree from Eastern University.
The Diocese of Palm Beach thanks Mr. Frank Sagarese, Interim-Principal, for serving Sacred Heart this past year.
