We also suggest supporting the Office of Catholic Schools through In-Kind donations of products, professional time and services or sponsor of our events such as the annual Lumen Christi Appeal.

The Lumen Christi Appeal is the bishop’s annual appeal for the benefit of our diocesan Catholic schools, both elementary and secondary. The Diocese of Palm Beach allocates 100% of the net proceeds of the Lumen Christi Appeal to tuition scholarships which are shared equally among the schools. The schools distribute the funds within their school communities. The Catholic schools in the Diocese of Palm Beach provide for the education and formation of 6,400 students throughout the diocese’s five counties.

The Helping Hands Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to students, regardless of race, color, or creed, who attend a Roman Catholic elementary and/or secondary school located within the Diocese of Palm Beach. This supports the mission of the Roman Catholic Church in providing a quality education to all students.  Principals receive requests for the scholarships and designate awardees with the approval of the Superintendent of Schools.
